Meet The Team
Iris Hall: Deeper Healing
I’m surprised to find myself suddenly 60 something but also thankfully, very young in spirit. My husband Glen and I are part of Whiteinch Church of Scotland which we helped plant about 13 years ago. We have two grown up daughters who are also our friends. This is a marvellous state of affairs!
I first met Steven and Helen more than 11 years ago when they started Prayer for the City in Glasgow. I became involved with PftC and have worked with them since then. My minister Alan McWilliam also got to know them and became part of their “church leaders praying” in the city. Four years ago Steven and Helen set up Healing Rooms in Scotland and the first healing room was opened in Whiteinch.
It was exciting to be part of that first team with Steven, Helen and Alan along with others from our church and folk from around the city. Glen became involved and now manages the Tuesday room in Whiteinch while I look after the Wednesday room.
As the ministry grew it became apparent that some people needed more time than our healing rooms could offer. Steven and Helen set up Deeper Healing (DH) ministry. I learned and developed in confidence as I worked with them.
Earlier this year a group from Whiteinch went to Bill Johnston’s church in Redding, California. We were taught about SOZO, their transformation ministry of salvation, healing and deliverance. In the DH team we have begun to study and practice these methods under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.
These are exciting developments where we see God working in very different ways from in Healing Rooms. It’s thrilling to see people set free in the space of a couple of hours, sometimes from childhood wounding or trauma which pre-dates their earliest memories.
Alongside increasing testimony of miracles in Healing Rooms throughout the country the work of Deeper Healing is expanding and the team developing. The Holy Spirit is moving among us in power, transforming lives, bringing freedom, healing and deliverance. Hallelujah! All praise and glory to Jesus!
